Johnson Lambert runs Salesforce Sales Cloud, Certinia PSA and ERP (formerly FinancialForce), and Marketing Cloud Account Engagement as the firm's CRM, professional services automation, and finance platform. Roughly 280 licensed users touch it, and every client engagement the firm delivers is planned, staffed, timed, billed, and recognized inside it.
We are hiring a dedicated Salesforce Administrator to own that platform. Today, requests reach Salesforce through a dozen different channels and get worked by whoever has capacity. You would be the single point of intake and the single owner: the one person who sees every request from Marketing, Finance, Business Operations, and IT, and decides what gets built now, what gets scoped, what gets deferred, and what goes to our external development partner.
The primary responsibilities will include:- Platform administration and security
- Certinia PSA and ERP support
- Release and environment management
- Reporting and enablement
- Request intake and partner management
What we are looking for- Three to five years as a Salesforce Administrator. Sales Cloud and Lightning Experience. You have owned an org, not just worked tickets in one.
- Professional Services Experience supporting a professional services firm, and ideally an accounting or advisory firm. Hands-on experience with a professional services automation platform - Certinia, Kantata, Kimble, or TaskRay. Certinia specifically is a significant advantage
- Real command of the declarative toolset. You can build a multi-step approval process or a record-triggered flow without help, and you can debug someone's flow without rebuilding it.
- Permissions fluency. You think in permission sets and permission set groups, and you understand why profile-based access becomes unmanageable.
- Reporting depth. Report types, custom report types, joined reports, and dashboards - including knowing when a report is the wrong answer.
- Release discipline. You have been through release cycles on a managed package and you test before you deploy.
- Judgment about scope. You can tell the difference between a fifteen-minute configuration change and a three-week project, and you say so before committing to a date.
- Written clarity. This role is remote and is the only person in the seat. Documentation and written scopes are the job, not overhead.
Strongly preferred- Salesforce Administrator certification; Advanced Administrator or Platform App Builder is a plus.
- Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot) administration.
- Comfort with data loading tools such as Data Loader or Coefficient, and with SOQL for investigation.
This position has the opportunity for tremendous growth within the firm. Beyond administration we would like this role to grow as we transition toward headless operations with Salesforce data. The right candidate will have interest in growing their skills and career within Johnson Lambert. This will include working with a team to architect and position our Salesforce ecosystem to leverage AI agents as first-class citizens-ensuring our data models, flows, and automations are fully optimized for agentic workflows and helping to build out the Salesforce administration team over time.
All roles offered at Johnson Lambert are offered in a hybrid format, should you be in close proximity to one of our 8 office locations, or have the flexibility to work from home in a remote setting.
