Sales Systems Specialist

The Position

We are currently looking for a Sales Systems Specialist to join our Sales Operations team at Concurrent Real-Time (CCRT), an HBK Company. This role owns the day-to-day technical backbone of our quoting and pricing process — the iHawk configurator, our core sales systems, and a major upcoming project to build a modern Configure-Price-Quote (CPQ) experience directly inside Salesforce. You'll be the person who keeps sales moving by maintaining and modernizing the tools our reps rely on every day to configure, price, and quote CCRT's real-time computing systems.

This role also leads a broader modernization effort — reducing manual data entry between our ERP and CRM systems and building smarter sales processes that let our sales team spend more time with customers and less time on administrative work. You'll take technology direction from our Product Systems Manager on new platforms and components, and work closely with Sales leadership and IT to make sure the systems we build actually serve how the sales team works.

Primary responsibilities

Your work includes:

• Maintain and update the iHawk configurator's compatibility rules as new products are introduced or retired
• Design and build a new CPQ system directly inside Salesforce, replacing the current manual, ePortal-based quoting workflow
• Lead modernization of our QAD ERP integration, installing a fully integrated ERP-to-Salesforce system for automated data flow and moving away from manual entry
• Maintain product costs and standard pricing, taking direction from the Product Systems Manager and our buyers
• Administer core business systems: the Quote System, Configurator, Price Lists, Product Database, and License Key Manager
• Roll out new processes and design Salesforce workflows for complete integration of our business systems
• Administer Simulation Workbench (SimWB) software licensing, including demo/eval licenses and entitlement troubleshooting
• Serve as the sales operations liaison for feature requests tied to QAD and Salesforce
• Develop sales efficiency processes that reduce administrative burden and free up sales teams to be more customer-facing
• Partner with Sales leadership to build accurate sales forecasting processes that support strategic decision making
• Redesign the maintenance contracts renewal process (order to cash) to be fully integrated into Salesforce for complete visibility to leadership
• Implement and optimize sales technologies — CRM systems, sales automation tools, and analytical platforms — to streamline operations

Professional qualifications

You hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or have equivalent work experience.

3+ years of experience in sales operations, business systems administration, CPQ/CRM implementation, or a related technical sales support role. Direct experience administering Salesforce or a CPQ platform is strongly preferred; ERP modernization experience (QAD or similar) is a plus.

Personal skills

• Programming/coding aptitude — not tied to one specific language (this role touches VB and HTML); comfortable using AI tools to work efficiently across languages
• Foundational hardware knowledge — enough to translate direction from the Product Systems Manager into configurator rule changes; deep hardware engineering expertise is not required for this role
• Strong platform and systems-integration knowledge — comfortable understanding how data lives and moves across QAD, Salesforce, and legacy systems, and how to unify them
• Salesforce expertise — a critical, high-priority skill across nearly every responsibility in this role
• Comfortable maintaining pricing data in spreadsheets, taking direction from Purchasing on cost updates
• Process design and systems-architecture mindset, with a bias toward reducing manual work and administrative burden on the sales team
• Collaborative and communicative — works closely with Sales leadership, the Product Systems Manager, and IT

Compensation:
The pay range for this position is $120K to $150K annually plus 10%. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to the individual's qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as physical work location within the state.”

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and will not now or in the future require sponsorship for employment visa. Due to the nature of CCRT's work supporting U.S. government and defense programs, this position requires U.S. Citizenship.
