Our Sales Strategy & Operations organization is responsible for building and maintaining the operational foundation that enables our sales organization to operate effectively and scale efficiently. This role partners with sales leaders, cross-functional stakeholders, and Strategy & Operations peers to help solve critical business challenges and support key planning and operational processes.
As a Sales Strategy & Operations Associate on our Planning & Performance team, you will partner with sales leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to analyze business performance, identify opportunities and risks, and support the operational processes that drive accountability and execution across the organization. You will contribute to core business rhythms including forecasting, annual planning, executive reporting, and recurring operational reviews.
The Associate should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to communicate effectively across a broad set of stakeholders. The ideal candidate can translate data into insights, manage multiple priorities, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a strong understanding of LinkedIn Sales Solutions' business drivers, operating metrics, and go-to-market strategy to provide data-driven recommendations.
- Analyze business performance and synthesize data into actionable insights that help leadership teams identify opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement across the business
- Support recurring forecasting processes by assessing performance trends, evaluating pipeline health, identifying risks and opportunities, and helping communicate business outlooks to leadership.
- Contribute to core business rhythms including forecasting, annual planning, executive reporting, and recurring operational reviews.
- Partner with teams across Sales, Finance, Analytics, and other cross-functional areas to execute strategic and operational initiatives that improve business performance and decision-making.
- Build analyses, dashboards, presentations, and recommendations that support executive-level discussions and drive informed business decisions.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational effectiveness through process redesign, automation, and AI-enabled solutions.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in Business, Analytics, Operations, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Operations, Finance, Management Consulting, Analytics, or a related business function
- 2+ years of experience using Excel and PowerPoint to perform analyses and communicate recommendations
- Experience working with large datasets and writing SQL queries to analyze business performance and answer business questions
- Experience using AI-enabled tools to support analysis, problem-solving, communication, or process improvement.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to leverage data and insights to solve complex business problems and influence decision-making.
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to conduct quantitative analysis and translate findings into clear recommendations.
- Experience working cross-functionally to drive projects, programs, or recurring business processes involving multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex information into clear and compelling narratives.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
- Experience leveraging automation, analytics, or AI-enabled solutions to improve business processes, increase productivity, or scale decision-making.
- Experience with BI/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), workflow automation tools, Python, or other advanced analytical technologies.

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $89,000 to $145,000.
Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
