Job Description

This Lab Productivity Product Specialist is a customer-facing sales role responsible for selling Agilent mass spectrometry solutions integrated with Agilent and third-party automation hardware and software platforms to help customers build more connected, efficient, and scalable laboratory workflows. Working in partnership with Account Managers, MS Product Specialists, Application Scientists, and business unit stakeholders, this individual helps customers identify opportunities to improve laboratory throughput, automation, efficiency, and digital transformation while positioning Agilent solutions to address those needs.

This is a fully remote position that will require travel within North America.

Key Responsibilities
  • Position the value of Agilent solutions through consultative sales conversations focused on productivity, efficiency, and return on investment.
  • Partner with sales teams to develop account strategies, build pipeline, and execute growth plans.
  • Engage key customer stakeholders to understand laboratory challenges, business objectives, and workflow requirements.
  • Extend market reach by enabling and supporting sales teams to effectively position, qualify, and sell lab productivity solutions across their customer base.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across instrumentation, software, automation, consumables, and services teams to support solution development and customer success.
  • Represent Agilent at customer meetings, industry conferences, seminars, and marketing events.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to identify, evaluate, and position 3rd party technologies that complement Agilent's portfolio, supporting the development of integrated customer solutions.
  • Gather customer and market intelligence to inform product strategy, competitive positioning, and future growth initiatives.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in chemistry, biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
  • 2+ years hands-on laboratory experience with analytical workflows, automation solutions, LC, LC/MS, or productivity-focused operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical, customer-focused solutions.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel within North America


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting or implementing automated laboratory workflows in pharma and biopharma laboratories.
  • Familiarity with laboratory automation platforms and digital laboratory solutions
  • Prior experience in technical customer-facing roles, business development, or product management.


Additional Details

This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely. Applications for this job will be accepted until at least October 8, 2026 or until the job is no longer posted. It is sales incentive eligible. In the US, this position is eligible for reimbursement for personal vehicle usage.

The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $117,000.00 - $195,000.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
