Line of Business: Service & Support

Heidelberg Materials has a current opportunity for a Sales Manager supporting our materials (Ready-mix and Aggregates) business in Southwestern Ontario.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Build and grow market presence by actively developing new business and expanding existing customer relationships in the field

  • Maintain a strong jobsite presence, working directly with contractors, builders, and project stakeholders to identify opportunities

  • Lead, coach, and support a small sales team while managing your own territory and key accounts

  • Partner closely with operations, dispatch, and technical teams to deliver responsive, high-quality customer solutions

  • Drive pricing, margin, and project strategies aligned with market conditions and regional goals

What Are We Looking For

  • Demonstrated success in field-based sales within construction, building materials, or related industries

  • Strong ability to develop new business while growing relationships through jobsite engagement and customer interaction

  • Leadership capability with a hands-on, player-coach approach to supporting and developing others

  • Commercial acumen with confidence in pricing, negotiation, and market decision-making

  • Experience in Ready Mix Concrete and/or Aggregates is an asset

Work Environment

This role is highly field-oriented, requiring regular travel across Guelph, Kitchener, Cambridge, Ayr, Brantford, Waterdown, and surrounding areas. A combination of jobsite visits, customer meetings, and collaboration with internal teams is expected, with time spent both in the field and in office locations.
