Full Job Description
Imperial is seeking a self-directed Sales Manager to drive consistent sales growth for our Nike Team Headwear business. This remote role is an independent contributor position with no direct reports, but requires exceptional leadership presence to facilitate all BSN Team Sports sales activities related to Imperial's Nike Team Headwear line. The Sales Manager will be the primary customer contact for assigned accounts, supporting Team Dealer partners, managing key relationships, educating Dealer Sales Pros, and ensuring customer satisfaction and retention

  • Salary: $100,000-$120,000 base + bonus opportunity

  • Travel: 15%


What You'll be Doing

  • Develop and implement sales strategies, in partnership with the VP of Nike Team Headwear, to motivate BSN Sales Pros and other Team Dealers to promote Nike Team Headwear products to increase market share and achieve sales goals.
  • Navigate BSN Sports systems and processes effectively to facilitate all Imperial Nike Team Headwear selling opportunities.
  • Build and deliver engaging PowerPoint presentations and Excel tools to train and educate Sales Pros on products, website navigation, order entry, and best practices for building custom headwear programs.
  • Become an expert in Imperial's systems, including NetSuite, for history, reporting, and analytics to support data-driven sales strategies.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with Dealer Sales Pros, ensuring satisfaction and driving revenue growth within BSN and other team dealer accounts.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product Development, and Customer Service to execute sales initiatives and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities and optimize sales performance.
  • Support trade shows, onsite visits to Imperial's headquarters in Bourbon, MO, and attend key sales meetings as needed.
  • Hit the ground running during peak busy season by quickly learning Imperial's products, systems, and processes to immediately add value for the team.


Success will be measured by:

  • Sales growth, measured by increases over prior period results
  • Dealer account development: expanding the number of Sales Pros within each Dealer actively placing orders
  • Adding new Nike Team Dealer accounts


What We Need

Experience: 5+ years of proven sales leadership experience, preferably within the Team Dealer industry or a related field; direct experience with BSN Sports processes and systems highly preferred.
Education: Bachelor's degree required.
Skills & Attributes:

  • Deep understanding of team sports products and supply chain
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills for presentations and reporting
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP/CRM systems; NetSuite experience is a plus
  • A results-driven, customer-centric approach to sales management
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
