We are looking for a technically minded and commercially aware Sales Manager to act as the product champion for our HVAC Controls and Flow Solutions portfolio.
This position is ideal for someone with a strong technical background who enjoys customer interaction, product strategy, and influencing commercial success.
Key Responsibilities of the Role:
- Serve as the product expert for our Controls and Flow Solutions portfolio, supporting Account Executives during customer engagements and sales opportunities.
- Conduct technical product demonstrations and customer presentations, translating complex technical features into compelling commercial benefits.
- Support the development of customized customer solutions by collaborating closely with sales, engineering, and product management teams.
- Participate in account planning activities and contribute market, product, and application expertise to support customer growth strategies.
- Act as the strategic interface between commercial and technical teams, balancing customer requirements with technical feasibility.
- Gather Voice of Customer (VoC) feedback and translate market insights into recommendations for product enhancements and future development priorities.
- Collaborate closely with Product Management and Marketing teams to support go-to-market strategies and product positioning.
- Support the commercial success of the product portfolio by contributing to revenue growth and market penetration objectives.
- Lead regular stakeholder reviews to communicate product performance, market developments, customer feedback, and strategic priorities.
- Represent the business at industry events, customer workshops, trade fairs, and technical conferences.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies within HVAC, controls, and heat pump applications.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Approximately 3–5 years of experience in Application Engineering, Product Management, Product Marketing, Technical Sales, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
- Professional fluency in English and the local market language.
- Strong HVAC industry experience, ideally involving controls, sensors, refrigeration, heat pump systems, or related technologies.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both engineering teams and commercial stakeholders.
- Strong presentation and customer engagement skills.
- Experience translating technical concepts into customer-focused value propositions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.
- Comfortable presenting to OEM customers, distributors, and internal leadership teams.
- Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience with HVAC controls, electronic controllers, flow controls, pressure sensors, or related products.
- Knowledge of heat pump applications and the broader HVAC ecosystem.
- Experience supporting OEM customers and understanding technical sales processes.
- Exposure to product management, product strategy, or product lifecycle management activities.
- Experience working within international and matrix organizations.
- Familiarity with Voice of Customer methodologies and market-driven product development.
- Experience participating in trade shows, industry events, and customer workshops.
