Position Summary

Mohawk Chevrolet is looking for a driven, accountable, and customer-focused Sales Manager to join our leadership team.

This is not a desk manager position where you'll sit in an office waiting for deals to come to you. We are looking for a leader who thrives on the showroom floor, coaches salespeople in real time, drives performance, and helps create an exceptional customer experience.

Pay Range: $185,000+ depending on performance

What You'll Do
  • Lead and motivate a team of sales consultants to achieve sales and gross profit objectives
  • Work directly with customers to structure and close deals
  • Coach salespeople daily on product knowledge, sales process, objection handling, and follow-up
  • Review CRM activity and hold the team accountable for lead management and customer follow-up
  • Ensure every opportunity is maximized, including internet leads, phone leads, appointments, and showroom traffic
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and develop action plans to improve results
  • Partner with Finance, Service, and BDC teams to create a seamless customer experience
  • Help recruit, train, and develop future sales professionals and leaders

What We're Looking For

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years of automotive dealership sales experience
  • Prior management or supervisory experience strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with tools such as V-Auto and dealership management systems
