About the Job You're Considering This senior sales leadership role offers the opportunity to drive large, complex smart utilities transformation programs for some of the most critical utility clients in Canada. You will play a strategic role in shaping the growth of Capgemini's Smart Utilities portfolio by selling high-value solutions across cloud, infrastructure, data, AI, automation, and digital operations. Operating at the executive level, you will act as a trusted advisor to CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, and Digital leaders, influencing long-term transformation roadmaps. This position provides strong autonomy, significant deal ownership, and direct impact on the Canada Business Unit's growth and market positioning.
Your Role - Lead and close large, transformational smart utilities service engagements, including modernization, managed services, and digital operations programs, delivering measurable business outcomes for utility clients.
- Own and drive end-to-end deal strategy, including opportunity qualification, value proposition development, competitive positioning, commercial negotiation, and executive governance.
- Engage C-suite and senior utility leaders as a strategic advisor, bringing thought leadership on smart grid modernization, cloud transformation, AI-enabled operations, cybersecurity, and resilience.
- Shape and orchestrate complex, multi-tower solutions by partnering with senior delivery leaders, architects, and global capability teams.
- Build and maintain a well-qualified pipeline while consistently delivering against annual booking targets.
- Contribute to market-facing propositions, account strategies, and annual sales planning for the Canada Business Unit.
- Represent Capgemini as a senior leader at industry forums, executive workshops, and utility sector events, strengthening brand credibility and market presence.
Your Skills And Experience - 10+ years of experience leading and closing complex sales pursuits within the Utilities sector, including smart utilities, grid modernization, or large-scale managed services programs.
- Proven success driving high-value, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and orchestrating cross-functional global teams through complex deal governance.
- Strong technical and solution credibility across cloud infrastructure, application modernization, data platforms, cybersecurity, automation, and AI/AIOps within utility environments.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and influence CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, enterprise architects, and utility operations leaders at the executive level.
- Experience positioning AI, analytics, and automation as core enablers of operational efficiency, resilience, and regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional communication, executive presence, strategic thinking, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to operate effectively and autonomously within a global, matrixed organization while shaping regional go-to-market strategy.
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: CAD $99,477K - $233,376K

The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
