As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Sales Executive to help expand our presence in Ontario and drive new client acquisition.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Executive to drive net-new business growth across the Greater Toronto Area and Eastern Canada. This role is ideal for a consultative sales professional with experience selling cloud, data, analytics, AI, or technology professional services.
You will be responsible for developing new client relationships, expanding executive networks, building partner-driven opportunities, and helping organizations navigate their data and AI transformation journeys.
This is a high-impact role that combines business development, executive relationship management, partner engagement, and solution shaping.
What You'll Do
Business Development & Sales
- Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities with mid-market and enterprise organizations
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities
- Execute outbound prospecting campaigns through networking, referrals, events, partner channels, and targeted outreach
- Own the sales cycle from initial engagement through contract execution
- Consistently achieve and exceed revenue and growth targets
Executive Relationship Management
- Establish trusted relationships with CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, VP Data & Analytics, AI leaders, and business executives
- Lead discovery conversations to understand business priorities, challenges, and opportunities
- Position Data Elephant as a strategic advisor for data modernization and AI initiatives
- Develop long-term client relationships that drive repeat business and expansion opportunities
Partner Ecosystem Development
- Build and strengthen relationships with AWS, Databricks, Microsoft, and other strategic partners
- Collaborate with partner account teams to identify and pursue joint opportunities
- Participate in partner events, executive briefings, and go-to-market activities
- Help increase partner-sourced pipeline and revenue
Solution & Opportunity Shaping
- Collaborate with Data Elephant's consulting and delivery teams to shape client solutions
- Help define data, analytics, cloud modernization, governance, and AI initiatives aligned to client objectives
- Support proposal development, executive presentations, and statement-of-work discussions
- Guide clients through the business case and value realization process
What We're Looking For
Required Experience
- 5+ years of experience in technology, cloud, data, analytics, AI, or consulting sales
- Proven success generating net-new business and managing complex B2B sales cycles
- Experience selling professional services, consulting services, managed services, or technology solutions
- Strong executive presence with the ability to engage senior business and technology leaders
- Experience managing and growing strategic client relationships
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Preferred Experience
- Experience selling cloud, data, analytics, AI, or digital transformation services
- Familiarity with AWS, Databricks, Microsoft Azure, Fabric, Snowflake, or similar modern data platforms
- Experience working with partner ecosystems and alliance teams
- Understanding of data modernization, analytics, machine learning, AI, and cloud technologies
- Existing network within the Canadian technology, data, or enterprise market
