Full Job Description
Turboden America LLC is looking for a Business Development Representativeto join our team. This position is primarily based in our Houston, TX office, with the flexibility to work remotely up to 50% of the time.

SCOPE

We are looking for a motivated engineering professional, passionate about energy generation and decarbonization, to support the Director of Next-Generation Geothermal Projects in a broad range of commercial and business development activities. The role offers exposure to key Next-Generation geothermal players (EGS), Oil and Gas companies and power utilities, and involves contributing to business development, market and competitor analysis, key account support, and the preparation of technical and commercial proposals.

The ideal candidate will have at least 4 (four) years of professional experience in sales and business development within companies that manufacture equipment for, or provide consulting services to, the electrical power generation industry.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the supervision of the Director of Next-Generation Geothermal Projects and in coordination with the relevant HQ departments, the incumbent will:
  • Support business development activities in the geothermal sector, including pipeline monitoring and identification of new opportunities.
  • Contribute to market and competitor analysis, collecting and organizing information on key players and technologies.
  • Assist in the management of key accounts and maintain regular communication with clients and stakeholders.
  • Support the preparation of technical and commercial proposals, coordinating input from internal teams (engineering, sales, proposal).
  • Participate in sales activities and customer interactions, including meetings, calls, and site visits.
  • Assist in the development of partnerships and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders (partners, consultants, industry associations).
  • Support general operational tasks, including documentation, reporting, and data entry in company systems.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Energy, Mechanical or Electrical engineering (preferred background in power generation systems).
  • Experience: 4 years of relevant professional experience preferably in one or more of the following:
    • Sales/business development in companies manufacturing equipment for power generation;
    • Experience in utilities or consultancy with focus in power generation.
  • Solid foundation in thermodynamics and energy production systems.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Professional-level English communication skills.
  • Based in Houston, TX (are preferred).
  • Strong communication skills with ability to synthesize complex information into clear, concise business documents.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects independently and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Self-starter mentality with intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn.
  • Public speaking and negotiation skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • Travel:
    • Up to 15% domestic for client meetings, geothermal events, and site visits;
    • Up to 10% international for training, geothermal events.
  • Standard Monday-Friday work week; occasional weekend or early morning work (for updates with Italian HQ) as needed.
