SUMMARY
Coordinates and performs sales quoting activities between the representative organization and/or customer for containment products specializing in high end BSL, standard containment, and government applications, as well as Camfil's pharmaceutical products by performing the following duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Field phone calls from reps, customers, engineers, purchasing agents, end users and government agencies regarding products, by responding with quotes, technical data, referrals and or in-house assistance.
Assists engineers and customers in generating specifications for our products.
Prepares quotations and bid packages to customers' specifications by utilizing configurator software cost sheet estimates and list pricing.
Assists rep organization in preparing quotations with technical information.
Confer and coordinate with in-house engineering, quality assurance, manufacturing and purchasing to prepare quotes and/or bids. During the production cycle, ensure the customer's expectations are met or exceeded.
Remain involved with the project from quote stage to delivery and commissioning to ensure customer's needs are met.
Prepare compliance with customer specifications through the submittal process.
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree or two to four years related experience and or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with Camfil or similar products preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Must have above average reading comprehension, writing and oral communication skills. Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
Communication: Extensive communication is a critical part of this role.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Technical math required.
REASONING ABILITY: Must have strong reasoning ability. Must be able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
