Job Summary

IPConfigure, Inc. is searching for a Sales Engineer that merges technical expertise with sales acumen. You will support the sales team in developing and delivering technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proposal development. Your knowledge of video surveillance systems and ability to understand customer needs will drive successful sales engagements and help position IPConfigure as a market leader. This role is fully in office at our headquarters in Norfolk, VA. However, we would consider hiring the right candidate for a remote location with mandatory quarterly office visits.

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Assist the sales team in identifying customer needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to potential customers.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure alignment of product capabilities with customer requirements.
  • Provide ongoing support and training to customers during the onboarding process.
  • Provide support in the development and delivery of proposals, RFPs, and RFIs.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of customer solutions.
  • Act as a liaison between the sales team and the engineering department for technical questions.
  • Gather feedback from customers to assist in product development and improvement.
  • Travel to customer sites for meetings, presentations, and installations as needed.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent work experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in a sales engineering or technical sales role.
  • Must have VMS experience.
