Position Summary
The Sales Engineer serves as a technical expert and trusted advisor to customers, responsible for driving profitable growth through design‑in engineering, technical consultation, and strategic account development. This role combines application engineering expertise with value‑based selling to influence customer decisions and expand market presence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Own and develop a defined sales territory across multiple industries, identifying and converting high‑value growth opportunities
- Lead technical discussions with customer engineering and R&D teams to support design‑in of SFC KOENIG solutions
- Translate complex technical requirements into clear customer value propositions
- Build, manage, and close a robust sales pipeline aligned with business growth objectives
- Act as the voice of the customer internally, collaborating closely with Product Development, Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations teams
- Maintain strong customer relationships through regular on‑site visits, technical reviews, and solution‑focused engagement
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related discipline preferred)
- 1–4 years of experience in technical sales, applications engineering, or customer‑facing engineering roles
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences
- Experience with precision components, fluid power, or engineered products preferred
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%

Total Rewards
The compensation range for this position is $97,000.00 - $145,400.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
