Position at Whaley Foodservice

Summary

Responsible for leading the sales department to achieve revenue targets by developing strategic plans, managing teams, and nurturing key client relationships while providing consultation and support to the Company's Senior Leadership.

Description
  • Develop and implement the Company's sales strategy.
  • Grow current sales initiatives like - Oh by the way (OBTW) etc.
  • Partner and liaise with the Unlimited Service Group Marketing Team to enhance Whaley Foodservice's presence in the industry.
  • Establish and improve techniques, tools, and structures to support the sales process and meet defined business objectives.
  • Identify and communicate general issues and concerns to the Regional VP and participate in solving such issues.
  • Oversee goal setting for Sales Department and use data and technology to measure and monitor sales processes, identify issues, and enhance performance.
  • Implement methods and systems to effectively analyze and monitor the industry, business environment, and competitors and expand the customer base.
  • Manage the CRM.
  • Lead the sales team.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Required Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management/Administration, Marketing, Professional Selling or 10 years of Sales leadership experience.


Required Work Experience:
  • 10 years of experience in Sales
  • 5 years leading a sales and/or marketing team


Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Sales techniques.
  • Ability to lead a team of people working remotely.
  • Relationship management (team and customer).
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion.
