Sales Director -Canada
Job Description:
As the Sales Director, Canada, you will be responsible for leading, developing, and evolving a high-performing sales team focused on driving sustainable, profitable growth across key customer accounts throughout Canada. This role will oversee a team of Account Managers responsible for building strategic partnerships and managing complex customer relationships within the food, beverage, and ingredient industries.
You will be accountable for developing and executing a national sales strategy that supports revenue growth, customer retention, market expansion, and profitability objectives. Key responsibilities include creating and implementing strategic account plans, optimizing customer engagement, managing sales forecasting and pipeline development, overseeing budgeting and expense management, and ensuring alignment with the company's overall growth strategy. To achieve targeted growth objectives, you will coach and develop your team to engage customers at the highest strategic levels, identify new business opportunities, and deliver innovative solutions that create long-term value for both customers and the organization.
Responsibilities:

• Ensure customer engagement strategies are aligned with Batory's mission, values, and culture, and that they result in team development and revenue growth.
• Identify, refine, and leverage accounts best practices to create "The Batory Way" of account management.
• Define, lead, and manage an optimal sale force.
• Recruit, manage, and coach sales professionals to deliver profitable growth.
• Create a culture of winning, collaboration and ongoing business goal achievement.
• Effectively and collaboratively work across Batory's functions to optimize accounts revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
• Develop and deliver accurate and timely quarterly and annual sales forcast.
Personal Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in Business Administration, marketing or related field
• 8 - 10 years' of progressive sales experience.
• Strong change agent sales leadership experience at the first or second-line
• Food, Beverage and Ingredients industry strategic accounts experience.
• Working knowledge of strategic customer base, distribution models and current competitive markets preferred.
• Deep knowledge of strategic account selection & segmentation practices, customer profile development, customer penetration strategies, strategic customer business planning, sales best practices.
• Experienced in CRM adoption and usage, pipeline development and progression, and business planning/forecast acumen.
• Experienced building a highly engaged, collaborative team that places high value on growth and customer satisfaction.
• Recruiting, selecting, managing, coaching, and developing high-potential sales professionals.
• Managing under-performing sales professionals to improve performance or manage them out of the business.
• High level of intellectual You see opportunity and growth in learning and incorporating new methodologies, strategies, and tools for improved effectiveness.
