The Opportunity:As a
Sales Development Representative at Collectly, you will be working closely with Sales to define and execute outreach strategies and build a pipeline from the ground up.
This is a unique opportunity to establish and grow our sales pipeline, targeting high-value, strategic accounts within large organizations. Your role will involve researching, prospecting, and engaging with decision-makers through multiple channels, using your creativity and initiative to drive success in a fast-paced, startup environment.

Please note: This role is hybrid in office - candidates located in the San Francisco Bay Area only will be considered.Responsibilities- Research and build a strategic pipeline through multi-channel outreach, targeting enterprise accounts and senior decision-makers.
- Leverage tools like Salesforce, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, Nooks, Clay, and Common Room to execute outbound strategies, focusing on phone calls as a primary method of engagement.
- Develop, nurture, and qualify new opportunities from initial outreach to booked meetings
- Follow up with inbound leads from marketing campaigns and events, driving them effectively through the sales funnel
- Work closely with leadership to align on outbound prospecting strategies, target accounts, and messaging.
- Build and manage outreach campaigns using data-driven insights to identify and prioritize strategic accounts.
- Continuously evaluate and improve prospecting tactics to increase pipeline generation and efficiency.
What Success Looks LikeWithin the first 90 days, this rep will:- Develop a strong understanding of Collectly's platform, target market, buyer personas, and the challenges healthcare organizations face across patient billing and revenue cycle management.
- Demonstrate proficiency in cold calling, account research, messaging, objection handling, and multi-channel prospecting.
- Consistently meet activity expectations while building a healthy pipeline of qualified meetings and opportunities.
- Effectively use coaching and call feedback to improve performance and operate independently within the team's sales process.
Over two quarters, success includes:- Consistently meeting or exceeding SQL, SQO, and pipeline-generation targets.
- Creating qualified opportunities through phone-first outbound prospecting across strategic healthcare accounts.
- Demonstrating strong territory management, account prioritization, and stakeholder mapping.
- Becoming a dependable, coachable, and collaborative contributor who takes ownership of results and continuously improves.
Required Qualifications- 6 months - 1 year of experience in a sales or customer-facing role preferably as an SDR or BDR in a SaaS company
- Strong experience with cold calling and multi-channel outreach, with a focus on phone calls for lead generation.
- Strong research skills to identify key accounts, decision-makers, and understand complex business problems.
- Excellent communication and writing skills with the ability to tailor messaging to different personas and organizational needs.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a collaborative, fast-paced startup environment.

Preferred- Experience selling into healthcare organizations, particularly revenue cycle management, patient financial engagement, or healthcare technology.
- Familiarity with healthcare billing workflows, EHR systems, or the challenges providers face collecting patient responsibility.
