Embross is seeking a seasoned technical sales professional with a proven track record in both new and existing client acquisition, and the demonstrated ability to open doors and drive executive-level sales within a small-medium size company.
Primary Role & Responsibilities:
The Sales/Account Manager's role is to generate sales primarily through maintaining and expanding the business relationship with existing customers. Revenue will be acquired through the sales of a mixture of products, installed systems, managed services and service agreements. The Sales/Account Manager will work closely with their Regional Head of Sales and Sales Directors to develop strategic plans to maximize revenue and profitability in a defined market area and is responsible for:
• Create, maintain, and execute a written Sales/Account Management Strategy. This will be comprised of individual ~$10M annual pipeline with specific revenue and profit targets, existing accounts targeted for growth and new accounts targeted for acquisition. The Strategy will be created annually and reviewed for achievements quarterly.
• Spend face time with clients to build relationships and understand their business, helping them leverage technology to enhance the delivery of their travel and transportation offerings globally.
• Actively prospect for new accounts and support change requests.
• Log and report all sales activities to enable accurate sales forecasting.
• Gather market data within your territory regarding key accounts, competitors, pricing, and other economic factors, and report findings to management.
• Customize and deliver sales presentations directly to clients, either in person or via video conferencing.
• Prepare professional, high-quality, accurate, error free written proposals for client presentations.
• Negotiate client contracts that are consistent with Embross' policies.
• Work with clients to define project requirements and communicate them to our design team.
• Work with our team of hardware and software designers to deliver the right solution for our clients.
Required Experience
• Technology sales experience, with $10M+ in annual sales.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Communications, Finance, or an IT related field.
• Proven history of managing existing clients and acquiring new clients.
• Demonstrated ability to present and communicate how technology can be used to solve business challenges.
• 5+ years Industry experience selling technical hardware and software solutions and services to both Airlines and Airports.
• Highly organized and efficient self-starter; able to work in a project-management-centric organization.
• Persuasive communication skills and excellent speaking, listening, and writing abilities.
Additional Skills and Abilities:
• Languages: English and Spanish(required); additional languages (Portuguese, French) are an asset.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse groups.
• Demonstrated planning, organizing, and implementation skills.
• Ability to effectively manage stressful situations through to resolution.
• Ability to read and interpret general business documentation.
• Occasional work outside standard business hours may be required to meet deadlines or attend business functions.
Location: Flexible- Latin America
Travel Requirements:
Up to 50% travel may be required to meet existing and prospective customers. Job responsibilities will typically be performed from a home or Embross office.
Accountability:
The Sales/Account Manager will report to the Regional Head of Sales. Secondary accountability will be to the other management team members, fellow team members and clients of the company.
