Local trauma surgeons provide good support, and the nursing staff is very strong and experienced. Qualifications include board certified/prepared in emergency medicine or board certified/eligible in a primary care specialty with emergency medicine experience.

The Wild West Winter Carnival, held each February, offers ice sculpting, casino nights, and tethered balloon rides.

The Riverton location is a 154-bed acute care facility and the Lander location is an 86-bed facility. Services offered include Diagnostic Imaging, Otolaryngology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, 24-hour Emergency Medicine, an Intensive Care Unit, and many other specialty services.
