ResponsibilitiesWe're seeking an experienced EHS Safety Professional to support an active industrial/pharmaceutical construction project in Ridgefield, NJ. This role will provide on-site safety oversight during a large interior demolition and reconstruction project, ensuring all work is performed safely and in compliance with regulatory and site-specific requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Provide daily on-site EHS support throughout demolition and construction activities
- Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and observations
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and client safety requirements
- Support pre-task planning, JHAs, and permit processes
- Monitor crane operations and critical lifts to ensure safe execution
- Coach contractors and field personnel on safe work practices
- Investigate incidents and near misses and implement corrective actions
- Maintain accurate safety documentation and reports
Qualifications
- OSHA 30 required
- Current 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification required
- Previous pharmaceutical, industrial, or heavy construction safety experience preferred
- Experience supporting crane operations and critical lifts required
- Strong communication, leadership, and documentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written skills

Pay Range$95,000-125,000
