Job DescriptionPosition Overview:The Safety Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining company-wide safety programs in accordance with OSHA, DOT, and other applicable regulations. This role plays a key part in identifying risk, improving safety practices, and ensuring consistent standards across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute workplace health and safety programs and policies
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and all applicable safety regulations
- Standardize safety procedures across multiple locations
- Conduct employee training, safety presentations, and accident prevention initiatives
- Inspect facilities, equipment, and operations to identify hazards and ensure compliance
- Investigate incidents and manage workers'compensation and auto claims
- Analyze safety data and produce regular reports and key metrics
- Recommend and implement corrective actions and continuous improvements
- Report safety performance and updates to senior leadership
Qualifications:- Proven experience in a Safety Manager or similar leadership role
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Experience developing and implementing safety policies and procedures
- Ability to analyze data, assess risk, and generate reports
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and strong observational abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Safety Management or related field preferred
- Safety certifications are a plus
Travel:- Approximately 25% or more travel throughout the Carolinas and surrounding areas.
- Asheville, NC and surrounding areas (southeast)

Salary Information:- Full-Time | Salary | Exempt
- $140, 000 -$150, 000 contingent on experience
