Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in RF design, embedded systems, and product testing to support the development of advanced copper and fiber optic communication products. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing and R&D environment and enjoys leading technical projects from concept through production.Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop copper product components for Category 5E/6/6A/8 structured cabling applications
  • Design and develop microcontroller systems, including embedded Ethernet systems
  • Perform RF simulations and validate performance through testing and measurement using VNA, S-parameters, TDR, and related tools
  • Create PCB layouts and board designs with a focus on manufacturability and cost efficiency
  • Collaborate with mechanical engineers on electromechanical designs
  • Support product launches and manufacturing implementation
  • Develop and submit intellectual property disclosures
  • Utilize HFSS, Designer, and other EM CAD tools to optimize product performance
  • Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical systems and components to meet industry standards
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and validation procedures
  • Lead installation, splicing, and validation of fiber optic assemblies for high-reliability communication systems
  • Support customer and R&D projects with manufacturability and testing expertise
  • Supervise the Test and Measurement Engineer
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure quality, communication, and operational success

Work Environment:
This position combines office, lab, and manufacturing floor environments. Candidates should be comfortable with computer-based work, testing activities, standing/walking throughout portions of the day, and lifting up to 50 pounds when needed.Schedule:
  • 6: 30 am - 5: 00 pm, Monday - Thurs
Pay:
  • $95, 000 - $105, 000 depending on experience
