Job Title: Construction Safety Manager

Location: Orlando FL

Salary: $40-$42/hr, Based on Experience
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Safety Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of safety manager experience in the construction industry, with a strong focus on ensuring workplace safety through proactive hazard identification, compliance with OSHA regulations, and continuous improvement of safety protocols. If you have a passion for maintaining a safe working environment and possess the necessary skills, we encourage you to apply! Hours are Monday- Friday 7am -4pm, Saturday 7am -3pm. Have to be able to be on-site everyday.

Scope of work: includes aerial facade removal of the Orlando Convention Center, tear down of an alternate building, interior demolition, and concrete cutting.

Duration : 3 to 4 months

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular safety inspections of construction sites to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs and procedures to prevent accidents and promote a culture of safety.
  • Provide safety training and orientation to construction workers, supervisors, and management.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training, and incident reports.
  • Investigate accidents and near-miss incidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and other team members to promote safe work practices.
  • Ensure all workers are equipped with necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and are following safety guidelines.
  • Stay up to date with OSHA regulations and industry safety best practices, and provide guidance to management on changes to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification is required. OSHA 510 is a big plus
  • CSP certification.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a construction safety professional.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety practices.
  • Ability to conduct safety audits, identify hazards, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively train and engage workers at all levels.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • CPR/First Aid certification required
