ABOUT THE ROLE:

Our innovative and growing company is hiring an experienced safety manager. The safety manager will be responsible for ensuring the distribution is up to par with all safety regulations, building an overall safety culture and engaging with employees to champion safety initiatives.

Salary: $100k - $115k

Job Responsibilities:
  • Ensure building is compliant with federal, state and local safety regulations, including being up to date with new safety legislation.
  • Maintains and monitors compliance with applicable Occupations Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) Regulations.
  • Guides and promote safe work performance by developing safety systems, policies, procedures and company culture.
  • Works collaboratively with key business partners in Maintenance, Operations, Engineering and Human Resources to understand safety initiatives and deliver successful implementation.
  • Ensures equipment is up to safety standards.
  • Creates safety programs to include investigation, reporting and administration.
  • Reinforce company strategies, while balancing goals of corporate goals at Distribution level.
  • Lead and manage all required audits.
