Qualifications

• Preferred college degree or relevant job experience
• Recommended heavy construction experience
• OSHA Certification (10, 30, 510, or 500) in Construction
• Ability to work various shifts including evenings and weekends
• Strong communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Valid Driver's License

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement health and safety plans and training programs
• Prepare and enforce workplace health and safety policies
• Conduct training sessions and presentations on health and safety topics
• Coach workers and address safety concerns in the field
• Perform audits to ensure field safety compliance
• Inspect equipment and construction sites for unsafe conditions
• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes
• Recommend improvements and prevention measures based on findings
• Prepare safety permits and approvals
• Provide expertise in health and safety matters
