Full Job Description
The Safety Manager is responsible for the strategicleadership and execution of workplace safety programs across multiplemanufacturing facilities. This role ensures organizational compliance with allapplicable safety regulations while fostering a culture of operationaldiscipline, hazard awareness, and continuous safety improvement.

Working in close partnership with plant leadership andcross-functional teams, the Safety Manager drives consistency in safetystandards, strengthens risk mitigation practices, and enhances overall safetyperformance across all locations. This position reports directly to the VP, Operations.
Key Responsibilities
Safety Program Leadership
• Provide leadership in the development,implementation, and continuous improvement of safety programs across multiplemanufacturing sites.
• Establish standardized safety policies,procedures, and best practices to ensure consistency and operationaleffectiveness.
• Drive safety performance through definedmetrics, accountability structures, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Promote a culture of proactive riskidentification and injury prevention.
• Coordinate implementation of company-wide safetyinitiatives.
• Leads safety related discussions at TailgateMeetings and Safety Committee Meetings.
• Delivers training on Safety Initiatives, WorkProcedures, Work Instructions, and regulatory requirements.
Regulatory Compliance
• Ensure full compliance with OSHA and allapplicable federal, state, and local safety regulations.
• Monitor regulatory developments and proactivelycommunicate changes and requirements to leadership.
• Lead safety audits, inspections, and compliancereviews; ensure timely resolution of identified gaps.
• Maintain accurate and compliant safetydocumentation and reporting systems.
Incident Management & Analysis
• Oversee the investigation of workplaceincidents, injuries, and near misses.
• Ensure thorough root cause analysis and theimplementation of effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Analyze safety data and trends to identifysystemic risks and drive targeted improvements.
• Ensure consistent and timely reporting acrossall facilities.

Training & Safety Culture Development
• Design and implement comprehensive safetytraining programs for employees and leadership.
• Foster a culture of safety ownership,accountability, and engagement at all organizational levels.
• Support site leadership in reinforcing safebehaviors and expectations.
• Lead initiatives that encourage employeeparticipation in safety programs and continuous improvement efforts.
• Lead and guide the development of Job SafetyAnalysis (JSA), implement and update work instructions and/or operatingprocedures.
Hazard Identification & Risk Reduction
• Oversee workplace inspections, hazardassessments, and job safety analyses (JSAs).
• Identify and mitigate risks associated withequipment, processes, and work practices.
• Provide guidance on the safe design andmodification of equipment and operational processes.
• Ensure contractor safety compliance andadherence to company standards.
Emergency Preparedness
• Develop, implement, and maintain emergencyresponse plans for all locations.
• Ensure readiness through regular drills andevaluations.
• Support plant leadership in respondingeffectively to emergency situations.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in occupational health andsafety, or related field, is required. Five or more years of Industry Safetyexperience is preferred.
• FA/CPR/AED Certification is preferred.
• CSP/ASP/OHST Certification is desirable.
• 511 Certification is desirable.
• OSHA 501 Certification is desirable.
Travel Requirements

Travel is required up to 30% and may include visits to othercompany facilities, suppliers, customers, or training events as business needsrequire.
Reasoning Ability
• Perform movements such as climbing, balancing,stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 poundsas needed.
• Requires close vision, peripheral vision, andthe ability to adjust focus.
• Must be able to stand for the duration of theentire shift.
• Frequent use of hands to finger, handle, andfeel.
Physical Demands
• Ability to apply common sense understanding whencarrying out instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to create, read, and accuratelyinterpret documents.
• Strong problem-solving skills, including theability to manage situations involving multiple variables in various contexts.
