Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Safety Manager to join our dynamic team. The Safety Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive safety program to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety management, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and mentor a well-developed, dedicated Safety Team across multiple facilities, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Develop, implement, and improve safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular safety and process audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Provide training and education for employees
- Investigate incidents and near-misses and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for corrective actions.Execute and document actions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records for all safety functions.
- Collaborate with management and employees to promote a culture of safety in the workplace.
- Enforce safe behavior and workplace practices
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in safety management.Review all processes and procedures to ensure compliance.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety management or a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A certificate in safety management (e.g., CSP, ASP) is preferred.
- The ability to maintain good working relationships with the Production Department, Safety Team, Quality Team, HR, and Upper Management is a MUST
