Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in safety management or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
• Proven experience leading safety culture initiatives and reducing incident rates.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Preference for a safety management certificate (e.g., CSP, ASP).
• Must maintain good working relationships with Production, Safety, Quality, HR, and Upper Management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a dedicated Safety Team across multiple facilities.
• Develop, implement, and improve safety policies and procedures per regulations.
• Drive a culture of safety through training and leadership engagement.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance.
• Provide training and education to employees on safety protocols.
• Oversee incident investigations and corrective actions with detailed reporting.
• Maintain accurate records for all safety functions.
• Develop and track safety metrics, KPIs, and report trends to leadership.
• Collaborate with management to promote workplace safety culture.
• Enforce safe behavior and practices while staying current with safety trends.
