Full Job Description
What You'll Do:

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive SHE training programs for plant safety procedures and contractor requirements.
  • Setup and optimize safety management systems, including hardware, software, data flow, and reporting mechanisms.
  • Create and implement safety communication strategies to engage employees and contractors.
  • Design and coordinate safety incentive programs to promote safety excellence.
  • Lead the development of Waste Management, Environmental, and Industrial Hygiene plans for turnarounds.
  • Review contractor safety plans and conduct risk analyses for specific jobs.
  • Support the implementation of safety programs and compile SHE statistical reports.
  • Act as a point of contact for Regional SSHE Advisors and support business line safety stewardship efforts.

Required Skills:

  • Strong understanding of safety procedures, practices, and compliance standards.
  • Experience with safety management systems and communicating safety initiatives.
  • Ability to develop and deliver engaging safety training.
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze safety performance metrics.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience in construction safety-related roles.
  • Knowledge of waste management, industrial hygiene, and environmental plans.
  • Prior experience supporting turnaround safety projects.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred.
  • Previous experience within the oil and gas or construction safety sectors is advantageous.
