SA, Horizontal HR Partner
We are hiring a Senior Associate to support key HR processes. The Senior Associate plays a critical role in delivering on key HR investments across the broader HRBP team along with planning, monitoring, and coordinating logistics for a number of processes such as talent management and performance management activities.
In this role you will:
Partner with Retail Bank and Retail Risk HRBPs and the broader HRX Horizontal HR team to drive best-in class HR experiences for our associates
Leverage HR data systems such as Workday, People Data Hub, Talent Development Tool, etc. to support HRBPs
Provide data and customized reporting as needed for other requests, i.e. headcount and attrition tracking, spans and layers, etc. on a regular and ad hoc basis
Partner with HRBPs to execute the semi-annual talent and performance management process, taking the lead on reporting and project management to ensure successful cycles
Prepare All Associate Survey summary materials (Google Sheets and/or Slides) for business leaders and partner with HRBPs to recommend action items for the business
Liaise with other Horizontal HR Partners and Enterprise HR to ensure broader process & policy updates are communicated and implemented across Retail Bank and Retail Risk HR
Document and manage localized playbooks and calendars, as needed, for all HR programs
Understand processes, roles, responsibilities and deadlines to ensure well managed HR processes and focus on continuous improvement

Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma, GED, or Military Experience
At least 2 years experience working in a project or process role
At least 2 years of experience in a Human Resources
At least 1 year of experience with data management and reporting
At least 2 years of experience with Google Suite (Google Slides, Docs, and Sheets)
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
Project Management or Process Management Professional Certification
3+ years of experience in Human Resources
3+ years of experience in Project or Process Management

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $96,500 - $110,100 for Sr. Associate, HR Business PartnerRichmond, VA: $87,700 - $100,100 for Sr. Associate, HR Business Partner
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
