Full Job Description
The Rx Field Sales Team is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Rx Product Sales Manager to join our team. As a Rx Product Sales Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, understanding, and communicating information related to this product category to increase sales team competency, drive new business, and retain existing business. This role requires a deep understanding of all products and provider needs associated with these products, including pricing and cost positions, competitor offerings and market trends. Success in this role will require strong coordination with Rx Category Management and Sales Leaders. The ideal candidate should possess expert knowledge in the pharmaceutical category, exceptional sales skills, strong communication skills and a proven track record of closing new business.
You will have specific financial growth responsibility (sales revenue) and will focus on advancing our pharmaceutical strategy, educating sales teams, and closing new pharmaceutical business through sales focused interaction, education, (and) providing exceptional support to our field sales organization and customers. This is a field-based role that involves building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders within sales, our customers, our manufacturer partners, and our category management team. This position is remotely located and has estimated travel of 25%.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Knowledge & Communication
3 Develop a comprehensive understanding of our pharmaceutical product and service offerings along with our competitive advantages.
3 Communicate efficiently with internal teams to ensure sales teams are competent within the category, can effectively communicate our offering to prospective customers and are able to navigate the selling process successfully.
3 Ensure field communication is clear, consistent, and actionable through coordination with Sales Communication colleagues and sales leadership.
Collaboration & Coordination
3 Work closely with Category Management to understand product and manufacturer strategies, new product offerings, and positioning.
3 Provide input from sales back to Category Management related to sales insights, customer requests and competitive threats.
3 Provide input on our sales strategies related to corporate and manufacturer initiatives to grow new business and support strategic partners.
Field Interaction
3 Seek input from sales teams to understand unique needs, requirements, and address concerns quickly.
3 Maintain regular communication with sales leadership and other critical feedback loops to gather insights and feedback.
3 Support large, strategic customer opportunities with enhanced sales and customer interaction.
3 Maintain strategic relationships with manufacturer sales teams so (to) ensure support for our partners and connect sales teams.
Compensation
In addition to the base salary, this role includes a target annual incentive of $40,000, paid quarterly. During the first six months, incentive earnings are guaranteed while you complete onboarding and ramp into the position. Thereafter, incentive compensation is based on performance, with earnings opportunities up to 200% of target.
Minimum Requirements
3 4+ years of relevant experience
3 Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record
3 7-year Motor Vehicle Record check conducted as part of pre-employment
Preferred Critical Skills
3 Proven track record of achieving or exceeding financial sales goals.
3 Strong pharmaceutical product knowledge.
3 Established relationships within primary care and extended care markets.
3 Experience working with primary care and/or extended care customers.
3 Demonstrated ability to drive the sales process from prospecting through close, leveraging influence, ownership, and strong stakeholder engagement to achieve business objectives.
3 Proven success navigating complex business environments, building strategic relationships with customers, sales leadership, and cross-functional partners, and negotiating with senior-level decision makers.
3 Strong business acumen, including a solid understanding of pricing strategies, cost structures, and margin management.
Additional Preferred Skills
3 Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3 Demonstrated ability to quickly learn complex products, systems, and processes, including support for new product launches.
3 Experience training, coaching, and educating sales teams on product offerings and value propositions.
3 Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including managing and analyzing complex spreadsheets.
3 Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to develop PowerPoint presentations and confidently present to groups of colleagues and customers.

Our Total Target Cash (TTC) Pay Range for this position:
$142,500 - $237,500
Total Target Cash (TTC) is defined as base pay plus target incentive.
