Overview General: Responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing specific services. Specific: Responsible for oversight of Operating Room at the Rehoboth Specialty Surgical Hospital. Clinical resource for providing patient care. Oversees PI audits and participates in the risk management process. Demonstrates competency with current EMR. Responsibilities Functions as a clinical resource person for the staff via role model activities when providing patient care. Demonstrates competency within the departments EMR, i.e., scheduling, preference cards and pick sheets. Oversees/monitors department specific PI audits, i.e., time out, counts, specimen labeling, etc. .Participates in the Risk Management Process via timely submission of variance reports, notification of all concerned individuals and follow-up counseling with respective staff members as needed. Responsible for payroll and timely management of employee's timecards Qualifications Will consider candidate with five years relevant experience.
