Full Job Description
Segra is searching for a qualified and experienced ROW Renewals & Acquisitions Manager to join us in a full-time capacity in our Kansas City, MO office.

Location Requirement:

The work arrangement for this role is a hybrid position, requiring a minimum of three (3) days in the Kansas City, MO office, with flexibility to work remotely two (2) days each week.

Role Overview:

The ROW Renewals & Acquisitions Manager will support the ROW contract management function by creating a centralized repository of all underlying right of way authorizations, cataloguing due dates or other critical dates and reviewing and analyzing all legal authority governing rights of ways providing initial due diligence on new agreement requirements. The incumbent will engage with state, local and federal governmental entities and investor-owned utilities to renew, modify or extend existing agreements. This role reviews and approve invoices related to cost of maintaining telecommunications facilities within the public right of way or on utility poles.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related discipline; Additional training or certification in telecommunications, contracts, real property and corporate transactions preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience in business transactions & contracts. Paralegal experience or JD preferred.
  • Key Competencies:
    • Superior writing and oral communications skills with the ability to effectively communicate legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders and other legal professionals.
    • Strong computer skills with high levels of competency in all Microsoft applications and Adobe Professional.
    • Excellent research skills.
    • Self-directed and motivated with awareness when additional visibility is needed.
    • Ability to prioritize and manage deadlines while juggling multiple customers and projects.
    • Ability to gather information, problem-solve, plan and organize.
    • Ability to devise logical approaches and make suggestions to address complex issues.

Salary Range: $86,205 - $100,000
