OverviewIf you’re the kind of engineer who gets excited by vibration plots, high-speed machinery, and solving problems most people don’t even know exist, this role was built for you. As a Rotor Dynamics Analyst at Centrus Energy, you’ll work at the cutting edge of gas centrifuge technology—supporting systems that play a critical role in clean energy and national security. From analyzing complex rotating systems to improving real-world manufacturing performance, you’ll combine deep technical expertise with hands-on engineering problem solving in an environment where innovation moves fast and every detail matters.
What You’ll Do
- You’ll partner closely with engineering, manufacturing, and testing teams to keep high-speed rotating systems operating at peak performance.
- In this role, you’ll analyze vibration and operational data, perform rotor dynamic modeling and simulations, support rotor balancing activities, and help troubleshoot complex equipment behavior.
- You’ll also conduct dynamic testing, apply digital signal processing techniques, develop custom diagnostic tools, and contribute to the continuous improvement of test procedures and automation efforts.
- Along the way, you’ll serve as a technical expert in rotor dynamics and vibration analysis while helping drive innovation across advanced centrifuge technology programs.
