Job Description

Own the vision, strategy, and detailed product requirements for one or more robotic systems. Translate customer insights and business goals into clear, prioritized roadmaps and product requirements that guide engineering and design. Drive the product from concept through launch while balancing time-to-market, cost, reliability, performance, and user experience.

What you'll do
  • Craft and refine a multi-year product roadmap grounded in data driven market research, competitive analysis, and Lab37's strategic goals.
  • Author and maintain product artifacts including PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metrics that drive our team's direction.
  • Lead qualitative and quantitative research alongside engineering to generate requirements and prioritize solution concepts.
  • Own end-to-end release management: prioritization, validation, launch readiness, and post-launch iteration to hit schedule, budget, and quality goals.
  • Drive external pilots: scope definition, onboarding, and rollout, while serving as the primary customer interface during early deployments.
  • Facilitate cross-functional execution and collaboration among mechanical, electrical, software, culinary, manufacturing, and commercial teams; surface trade-offs and unblock decisions.
  • Define, monitor, and analyze KPIs spanning system performance and business outcomes; build dashboards and reports that power data-driven decisions.
  • Translate insights into compelling narratives for executives, investors, customers, and partners through roadmaps, presentations, and live demos.


What we are looking for
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or related field is required; MBA or equivalent business experience a plus.
  • 3+ years relevant work experience, with 3+ years in robotics, automation, industrial hardware/software systems, or similar domains.
  • Proven track record turning ambiguous customer problems into shipped products with measurable impact.
  • Highly analytical mindset, comfortable diving deep into telemetry, operational metrics, and financial data to uncover insights and drive evidence-based decisions.
  • Strong systems-thinking ability across mechanics, electronics, firmware, cloud services, and UX.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to influence without authority in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Skills
  • Experience with food-service equipment, NSF/UL compliance, or other safety-critical electromechanical systems.
  • Expertise in data analytics, machine learning, or advanced perception systems for autonomous robotics.
  • Working knowledge of design for manufacturing, regulatory approvals, and connected edge-IoT device ecosystems.
  • Competence in financial modeling (business cases, ROI) and pricing strategy.

We do our best work together. That's why all of our office-based teams work onsite, five days a week.

The base salary range for this role is $165,000 - $195,000 per year.

Actual compensation will be determined on an individual basis and may vary depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.

Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package. You may also be eligible for equity awards and an annual performance-based bonus.
