Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement robotic systems from the ground up.
  • Program and commission 6-axis industrial robots in production environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on integration and troubleshooting.
  • Travel to customer sites to support installations and provide technical assistance.
  • Contribute to technical discussions, challenge assumptions, and offer alternative solutions.
  • Perform root-cause analysis and problem-solving for complex electromechanical systems.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding project updates and requirements.

Candidates must have the following to qualify

  • Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Controls Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field from an ABET accredited institution.
  • Experience developing robotic systems from the ground up and creating robot programs from start to finish.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience programming and commissioning 6-axis industrial robots in a production environment (FANUC strongly preferred).
  • Proficiency in FANUC robot programming (TP, iPendant) and experience with ROBOGUIDE or equivalent 3D simulation suite.
  • Experience integrating robots with PLC-based control systems, safety circuits, and industrial networks.
  • Willingness to develop and contribute beyond core expertise in areas applicable to automation and robotics projects.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites for installation, commissioning, and support as needed.

Up to 50% travel is required for approximately the first 6 to 9 months. Up to 25% travel after this period.

Location: Gainesville, GA or Springdale/Rogers, AR with willingness to relocate to Gainesville, GA in the future.
