Position Summary: The ideal candidate will be based in Texas, preferably in a major metropolitan area with easy access to a major airport.

Responsibilities: Essential Duties
  • Develops a sales strategy to identify and pursue sales opportunities for Aesculap Neurosurgery capital products within territory.
  • Implements successful executive level selling strategies by consistently and systematically initiating sales calls and contacts, developing proposals and action plans, building trust and developing relationships with customers at the highest levels within target accounts.
  • Controls the sales process through effective targeting of buyers and influencers; overcomes objections and obstacles to win the opportunity.
  • Projects executive presence and professionalism sufficient to interact with C-level executives.
  • Observes surgical procedures as required to remain informed of industry trends.
  • Responds to customer needs, requirements and problems in accordance with Company policy, acts as liaison between customer and Neuro Business Unit, Customer Service, and Credit departments.

  • Judgement is required in resolving day-to-day problems
  • Interacts with internal and/or external clients and customers to negotiate and interpret information on projects and unit operations. May consult with senior management.


Expertise: Qualifications -Education/Experience/Training/Etc

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 4+ years of capital and/or disruptive technology experience within the medical device industry.
  • Frequent business travel required, Valid driver's license and passport, Ability to work non-standard schedule as needed, On-call hours as needed.
