Job DescriptionDewberry is seeking a Roadway Engineer/Project Manager in our Charlotte, NC office. This is an excellent career opportunity to join a top Transportation Design firm. We are seeking a candidate that will have the opportunity to grow and strengthen our transportation design practice in North Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Project management of Transportation design projects.
- Supervision of staff and document production.
- Development and monitoring of project budgets and schedules.
- Assisting with and collaboration with team members on the marketing of new projects.
- Interfacing with clients.
- Collaborating with other Dewberry offices on design projects..
Required Skills & Required Experience
- BS degree in Civil/Transportation Engineering.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in the design of highways and roads
- Experience can include development of traffic management plans, work zone traffic control plans, and signing and pavement marking plans.
- NC PE license, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Experience with state DOT and Municipal projects preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Task management experience.
