Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in roadway design, focusing on municipal projects.
• Professional Engineering (P.E.) License required or eligibility to obtain within 12 months.
• Proficiency in design software including Microstation, Open Roads, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering and traffic engineering principles.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex engineering problems and develop solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting technical information.
• Collaborative and adaptable team player with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed engineering designs for municipal roadway projects, covering various elements like geometric and pavement design.
• Utilize advanced design software to create accurate plans and specifications.
• Assist project managers with planning, scheduling, and execution of roadway projects.
• Prepare documentation and reports for client communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle, including conducting field visits and assessments.
• Review design plans for accuracy and compliance with standards and regulations, while implementing quality control processes.
• Maintain client relationships through regular updates, and participate in stakeholder project meetings.
