Your Role as a Registered Nurse (RN):
As a vital member of our health care team, you’ll provide top-notch patient care within your assigned department or unit. Working closely with clinical managers and other healthcare professionals, you’ll assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, always ensuring the highest standards of safety and compassion.

Responsibilities

- Provide direct, compassionate patient care while adhering to Legacy Health’s high standards for patient assessment, care delivery, and transfer.
- Work with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, holistic care for every patient.
- Advocate for patients by offering education and emotional support, helping them navigate their health journeys.
- Leverage cutting-edge electronic health systems to accurately document patient information and provide seamless care
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
Education:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program as required by licensure.
- BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) is strongly preferred. If you’re working towards your BSN, we encourage you to apply!
- For certain roles, a BSN is required. We also consider RNs without a BSN based on clinical experience and with approval from the Chief Nursing Officer.
Experience:
- At least one year of nursing experience, or completion of the Legacy Health RN Residency program (or equivalent program).
- Must be available to meet the 30-minute call time.
- This opening for the Operating Room is designed for RN's with a minimum of one year of RN experience who have a strong desire to work in the OR. Transition training into the OR setting will take at least 6-9 months and will include successful completion of the 16 day AORN periop 101 course, completed over the first 9 weeks. Orientation includes class time and didactic learning along with precepted shifts in the ORs to apply learning in the practice setting.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to connect effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to navigate and utilize electronic health systems.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities — because in this role, every day is different, and your expertise will make all the difference.
Licensure
Licensure:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association (AHA).
