Job Description Summary
Join a growing Electrophysiology (EP) team and help build a regional Lead Management and Lead Extraction Program. No prior EP experience required, we're looking for strong cardiovascular nurses with excellent critical thinking skills and a passion for coordinating complex patient care. The EP RN Specialty Coordinator serves as the primary nursing contact for patients, referring providers, and interdisciplinary teams. This is an opportunity to become a clinical expert in a highly specialized area of cardiovascular medicine while helping build and grow a regional program. You'll work alongside nationally recognized electrophysiologists and multidisciplinary specialists while making a meaningful impact on patients with complex cardiac conditions. This role combines clinical expertise, patient advocacy, collaboration, and program development.

Job Summary/Purpose: Under general supervision, the RN Specialty Coordinator provides individualized, age appropriate, culturally competent, goal-directed and family centered patient care to patients at the proficient level utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process. This role delivers safe and effective care and interacts with other members of the health care team to achieve desired results. This position consistently models excellence in patient care and contributes to unit leadership.

Minimum Training and Education:

Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing and a minimum of three years related clinical nursing work experience required.

Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations: Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
