Emplify Health by Gundersen has an opening in the Operating Room

As a Level 2 Trauma Center, the Surgery Department is a fast-paced unit with 18 state-of-the-art operating rooms and 2 labor and delivery suites with cutting-edge surgical equipment. We provide a wide range of surgical procedures, including robotic-assisted and minimally invasive surgeries to populations ranging from neonates to adults. The multidisciplinary team includes RNs, surgeons, anesthesia staff, and surgical technologists. As a nurse, you will play a direct role in providing LOVE + MEDICINE for a broad range of patients in the Operating Room. Registered Nurses in the OR circulate and may scrub for surgeries while caring for patient’s one-on-one being their advocate and anticipating their needs during the surgery.

What you will do:

  • Fulltime, 80 hours every two weeks (1.0 FTE)
  • 10-hour shifts: primarily day shifts (6:15am-4:45pm) with occasional night or weekend shifts as needed per unit need (cover PTO, FML, or vacations)
  • Night and Weekend call rotation. Call response time is 60 minutes or less
  • Holiday Rotation: 1-2 holidays per year

What You\'ll Need: 

  • Minimum of an associate degree in nursing
  • An active RN license to work in Wisconsin
  • Current BLS for Health Care Providers
  • Prior RN experience is strongly preferred
