- Resident Assessment and Care Plans
- Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding resident care.
- Provide advice and emotional support to residents and their family members.

- Make recommendations for revisions of policies, procedures, etc., to the Director of Nursing Services
- Oversee and assist in developing methods for coordinating nursing services with other resident services to assure the continuity of the residents' total regimen of care
