Psychiatry Registered Nurses (RN) Harborview Medical Center is a level one adult and pediatric trauma center as well as regional burn center for a four-state region; a teaching and research hospital for the University of Washington; and a public/safety-net hospital for our diverse community.
UNIT- Adults 18-99 plus
- Two-acute care floors
- Psych Intensive care unit (Psych ICU)
- Psych Emergency service (PES)
DEPARTMENT- 21-bed unit
- 2:1 staffing ratios
- 24/7 security
Our ICU patient population is primarily involuntary. Our nurses and staff understand de-escalation, seclusion, and restraint techniques. Our staff deal with a broad range of complex mental health and medical diagnosis.
SCHEDULEREQUIREMENTS- Graduated from a accredited school of nursing
- Have/obtain a WA state nursing license to practice or MSL
- One or more years in psych nursing or acute care setting
Compensation, Benefits and Position DetailsPay Range Minimum:$46.97 hourly
Pay Range Maximum:$87.02 hourly
Other Compensation:BSN or higher $1.00/hrCertification pay $1.25/hrWeekend shift differential $4.00/hr.Over time payRelocation available
