Description:
The position requires the ability to float to pre and post care for Cath Lab, GI, and IR patients.
You will be responsible for circulating left and right heart catheterizations, pacemakers, and transesophageal echocardiograms.
The average number of cases per day is 8.
Call is self-scheduled and can be up to 7 or more shifts per month, including weekends.
You may float to GI, where you will not be performing cases but will follow physicians' orders, take vital signs, and provide education to patients' families during discharge.
Flexibility in schedule is required, especially for weekend and holiday shifts.
The dress code is scrubs, which will be provided.
Unit orientation will take place and vary based on departmental needs.
This role involves working in an acute care setting, primarily focused on cardiac patients.
