Description:
We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse.
Candidates with neuro IR experience will be given preference.
ICU RNs with IR experience will also be considered.
The position involves pre-operative and post-operative care for patients undergoing procedures with conscious sedation or general anesthesia.
RN responsibilities include assisting in various body IR cases such as chemo embolization, IVC filters, angiograms, and biopsies.
You will work in an environment that includes outpatient and inpatient populations, including critical care and telemetry patients.
Required certifications include BLS and ACLS.
This role requires the availability for occasional Saturday shifts, with a possibility of holiday work if needed.
Our facility has a multidisciplinary team including IR techs, CT techs, nuclear medicine, and ultrasound techs available for support.
Charting will be done using a specified electronic health record system.
The position does not involve working in the neuro endovascular area, focusing solely on body IR.
Additional desired certifications include PALS, if applicable.
