How you'll make an impact in this role- Direct daily operations, clinical workflows, and patient care delivery across the unit, maintaining strict compliance with medical, legal, and ethical healthcare standards.
- Oversee key clinical activities-including assessment, care planning, and service level determinations-while driving patient satisfaction and resolving complex complaints.
- Lead end-to-end workforce planning, including recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluations, and ongoing staff development to maintain high clinical standards.
- Establish departmental goals aligned with organizational priorities; build, monitor, and manage the unit budget to ensure fiscal responsibility and resource optimization.
- Direct internal and external audit processes to ensure continuous survey readiness and adherence to regulatory requirements.
What minimum requirements you'll needLicensure / Certification / Registration:
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
- Master's degree or combination of Bachelor's degree and experience preferred.
Work Experience:
- 5 years of experience required.
- 10 years of experience preferred.
- 2 years of leadership or management experience required.
- 5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
