Your Role on the TeamPosition Summary: The Supervisor is a registered professional nurse, proficient in caring for acute medical/surgical patients and coordinating the emergency department. Acts as liaison between administration, medical staff, and ED nursing staff. Must be able to manage a dynamic staff effectively. The incumbent is also responsible for promoting the positive image of the facility by effectively communicating and interacting with staff, physicians, patients, families, and the community.

- Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Management/Supervisory experience in the nursing profession
- Current RN License
- Current BLS Provider
- Current ACLS Provider
- Current PALS Provider
- Current CPI Provider
Preferred Qualifications:- Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
- Master's Degree in Nursing
- CEN
