Qualifications

• Active RN license in Oklahoma or Licensed Clinical Social Worker
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
• Experience in hospital case management preferred
• Familiarity with nationally recognized Level of Care Criteria Sets preferred
• Certification as a Diabetic Educator is preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

Responsibilities

• Participate in treatment planning with medical teams to ensure quality care and monitoring of patients
• Oversee the hospital's Utilization Management Program and engage in relevant committee work
• Manage department staff through hiring, training, performance evaluation, and necessary disciplinary actions
• Implement state and federal regulatory agencies' standards within the department
• Report directly to the designated leader regarding departmental operations
• Adhere to physical demands and safety requirements associated with the role
• Maintain awareness of potential exposure to biological contaminants from patient interactions
