JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Quantitative Analyst in the Commercial & Investment Bank Wholesale Credit Risk (Counterparty Credit) team, you will develop subject area expertise for Central Counterparty (CCP) quantitative related issues. You'll support the development, validation, and distribution of recurring quality reporting while maintaining the integrity of data pipelines that power operational scorecards and performance metrics. In this role, you'll collaborate with cross-functional and global stakeholders to define reporting requirements, resolve data quality issues, enhance reporting processes, and identify opportunities for automation. Success in this position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, ownership, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Produce recurring quality analytics and operational reporting, including volumes, forecasts, throughput, and performance metrics according to established schedules.
  • Validate reporting outputs by performing quality assurance checks, reconciling data sources, and ensuring metric accuracy and consistency.
  • Distribute finalized reports to stakeholders with meaningful insights, key highlights, and follow-up recommendations.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, answer business questions, and support decision-making across Risk Management & Compliance.
  • Monitor and maintain data pipelines to ensure reliable, accurate, and consistent reporting.
  • Investigate and resolve reporting or data quality issues by partnering with upstream data providers and technology teams.
  • Collaborate with regional and cross-functional stakeholders to gather business requirements and continuously improve reporting solutions.
  • Enhance data ingestion and transformation processes as reporting needs evolve.
  • Maintain documentation for business rules, data definitions, reporting methodologies, and operational procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation, process optimization, and standardized reporting practices.
  • Proactively communicate risks, dependencies, and potential delivery impacts while recommending practical solutions.

     

Required Qualifications, Capabilities & Skills

  • Experience preparing, validating, transforming, and analyzing data for reporting and business analytics.
  • 3+ years of experiencebuilding and maintaining dashboards usingTableauor a comparable business intelligence platform.
  • Proven experience delivering recurring operational reporting with a strong focus on accuracy, governance, and timely execution.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present findings to stakeholders across multiple organizational levels.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Ability to translate business needs into reporting requirements, metrics, and actionable insights.
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, analytics teams, and data providers.
